Ro Laren was my absolute favorite on the show.

But I also enjoyed Picard and Worf (although Worf really got the chance to shine on DS9).

Troi was gorgeous.

Picard. He's intelligent and principled, and proves that you don't have to be a fighter to be a strong leader.

Kirk, but not for the usual reasons. His over dramatic nature and infectuous smirk of cockyness really made him a center of attention for that classic TOS.

That's great, but this is a TNG thread.

I would say Q, Wesley Crusher, Dr. Crusher, Data, Picard, Troi, Riker, LaForge, O'Brien, Worf.

Data: try to imagine the show without him, I mean really

Picard: the best of ALL the Captains by far

Barclay: I like difficult men

Q: "

Mrs. Troi: I guess I like difficult women too

Guinan: just because she's so freakn' cool

Geordi, Deanna, Ro, Worf, Crusher

I would put Picard in first place, he is a strong, leading character, very intelligent and so devoted to his role of captain - but still he is not so blinded by obligations and rules - he knows when it`s enough! (eg. Insurrection) in cases like that, he shows how determinate and brave he is.

From TNG definitely Data. I think he is just an all around great character.

Geordi, Data, Captain Picard and Wesley. Please don't throw me off the ship!

My favorite character is Data because he tries to better himself and tries his best to understand the people around him,and he is FUNNY!

Do I have to choose??? As a role model, Deanna Troi.

By coolness, Q and Guinan.

By smarts, the Crushers.

For leadership, Picard.

Pure amazingness goes to Data.

I idolize LaForge as well, since he REALLY knows what he's doing.

Bottom line? I could go on and on and on about what I like about all the characters. Including Barkley...
