I liked the NX-01's interior the best.  The 'submarine in space' feel of it was great.

I think one option on this poll should be split, the enterprise D had two interior set-ups, even if they were merely cosmetic changes. Season one i thought the bridge was ugly, but it got better after that. Also what about the bridge design on the same ship but from the future?

I voted for the NCC 1701, as seen in the original series, but all the original cast movie interiors (in both Enterprises) were great too.  Kirk's Enterprise(s) looked like a functional starship, unlike the overly luxurious 24th century ships.  The bridge on the Enterprise D looks like a giant, sparsely furnished living room.  At the same time, the NCC 1701 had a more fun, stylized, photogenic look (particularly in the original series) than did the NX-01.  However realistic that ship might have been, its poorly lit interiors didn't make good television.  It was too difficult to follow the action of so many scenes, particularly if you lived somewhere that didn't get a clear signal for the show.

Falor was a prosperous merchant who went on a journey to gain greater awareness: Through storms he crossed the Voroth Sea/ To reach the clouded shores of Raal/ Where old T’Para offered truth./ He traveled through the windswept hills/ And crossed the barren Fire Plains/ To find the silent monks of Kir./ Still unfulfilled, he journeyed home/ Told stories of the lessons learned/ And gained true wisdom by the giving. – Falor’s Journey, “Innocence”

i thought the E brought both, the beauty and prestige you would want on your flagship, and common cense of functionality.

The NX and its "Submarine" feel, i thought was excellent, for our first real "lets get out there" ship. Though It could have used alittle better lighting  lol

As far as the D, with the exception of the alternate timeline(s), the design through out the ships service was bascically the same. So with inclusion of "alternate timelines" designs, then which ever interior you like the best would be a vote for that particular ship. Comment to clairify if you wish.

The only thing I didn't like about the D was the color scheme. They made it look like some old person's cadillac with tan interior and woodgrain, I bet it even had a tape deck. LOL Aside from my fav which was the A in VI I really loved Voyager with its openness and dark leather and blue lighting it looked so sporty.

Are you sure it isn't time for a colorful metaphor?

Gotta be the D.  It's the one I grew up with, and it's the one that seems truly suited to an age of exploration, not combat or war.  And having sat in the Captain's Chair at Star Trek: The Experience, that bridge design is. just. perfect.

The design for the TNG bridge is flawed. It leaves a barrier between the security officer and the two highest ranked people. If boarded, Worf must jump over the barrier (Which he seldom does) or run down the slope, wasting precious time in which Picard could be captured. Not only that, but the bridge is located in a spot with very little protection. There is even a glass dome making it even easier to shoot the bridge.

Enterprise-E all the way. I love the color scheme as well as lighting. And engineering is awesome on that ship. In general I also like the interiors on other TNG movie era starships.

I like the interior of the Enterprise 1701 - D, even if it seemed a little bit too luxurious, then The NX-01.
