I liked the unnamed Romulan commander who courted Spock. Joanne Linley was a very lovely lady back in the 60s. Not far behind would be both Uhura, Rand and Chapel.

You have to be careful with those non-canon names, as they can change as easily as the wind. In the 70's and 80's no one could settle on a first name for Sulu.


I for one find her given name in the novel less interesting than 'The Romulan Commander'.
