It is nice to finally see a real bath tub, with water, and a real kitchen that someone is cooking in. (gally)

However, that nice suprise being said, I am in the 5th episode, and this is a realy exuberant TNG remake, with a "Hologram" doctor.....What? And, they space surfed 75 years away from home and they are busy investigating plants instead of warping back home as fast as posible....and there is no noise on this ship. At least with the D they showed people, and noise and action; sounds from the Warp Core and engineering...I don't know...does it get any better...I am thinking not....

It does. They were really trying to get into the the right feel for VOY at first. Personally I believe the show is at it's best once they don't have to deal with the Kazon.

I agree. The Kazon were annoying to me. And I agree they were trying to get the right groove. I mean it was the first series where they were the only Star Fleet ship around. They were alone and had to live up to being a member Star Fleet and at first getting 2 crews that hated each other to act as one. Good show, give it time. And though I liked Kes, I think adding 7 of 9 kicked it up a notch or 2.

It really does... KEEP WATCHING! lol.

It's my favorite series, by far. That "what..?" you're experiencing with the Doctor, I think we all experienced that.  Like I didn't see where that was going, and it all seemed a little far-fetched at the beginning. But you really come to know him and like him, and he turns out to be an amazing character, one of my favorites, except for Janeway of course.

He's most comparable to Data of TNG, where he started out like a machine and kind of a "what..?" thought in your head... but they both ended up as amazing, dynamic characters that everyone loves by the end of the series.

But keep watching. Voyager gets better and better.
