I thought it all looked pretty frickin' similar anyway, honestly.

Even her uh, dress things still had the same basic lines as the Starfleet uniform, just in dress form.

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but the reason why she was in civilian clothing is due to her role as councellor. That way there can be a more relaxed, closer link between her and the client. Then, rank does not get in the way.

I prefer her anyway in civilian dress, generally. She looks nicer, more attractive. And, are nice outfits.  

Yes, I was happy when they did it and wish they had had her in a proper uniform from day one!

She looks professional in a uniform but like a welcoming councelor out of uniform, like someone who actually cares about you. i like both.
