Why hasn't the last ST movie by J.J. Abrams broadcasted on premium cable television channels?

Don't have an answer, but then again I have it on DVD and Digital Copy so...

Any one with a working brain would know that cable channels don't need sponsors.


Star Trek movie will have exclusive cable TV premiere on the EPIX channel for at least another year.


The again it dosn't realy matter to me, I have it on DVD and can watch it any time I please, which is often.

^^Nope.  Star Trek, the most successful and critically aclaimed film in the franchise, has been airing on Viacom/Paramount Picture's "Epix" movie channel.

I'm the same way so to be strickly honest i hate Trek on TV dumb commercials get in the way.
