Things here at Shadow Fleet have changed even more lately, and for the better I might add!  First and foremost is the launch of the new Galaxy-class:  USS GETTYSBURG!  This will now make a total of four starships our SIMM has, and is currently under the command of Captain Lance Krol and Commander Connor Price.  Both officers have served with distinction in Shadow Fleet for years, and we are proud to have them here commanding the newest starship.  Second, the USS CHURCHILL -the epic Intrepid-class - is now under the command of Commander Reece Thompson and Lt. Commander John Brown.  Both of these officers are very experienced with command, and will keep the epic missions of the CHURCHILL going.

For those of you who don't know; our beloved Master Chief Shelaf Greegy retired as the Account Manager for us here at Star Trek.com for recruiting wonderful players to Shadow Fleet.  I, Petty Officer III Sukal, take over today officially as his replacement.  I have only been a member of Shadow Fleet since September 2012, but I have found myself highly addicted to the community that I am now proud to serve here for at Star Trek.com.  Feel free to ask questions of me on here, and I will happily answer them.

We here at Shadow Fleet are excited at the amount of new recruits we have received in the past two months!  Even before the launch of our newest addition to the Fleet:  USS GETTYSBURG; there has been a steady arrival of new members. Just in these past two months we have had 7 new people join, and they are enjoying themselves immensely. The newest member is Luke Stafford, one of the GETTYSBURG's new nurses.  With four starships to have a chance at serving on; there is still plenty of room for many more.  Those who prove themselves as adding constantily to their SIMM's missions with excellent posting have a chance to take the EPC (Enlisted Personnel Course) to advance up the enlisted ranks, or even enter the Academy for officer's training.

So, what are you waiting for...a personal invitation? Well, consider yourselves invited to the most exciting and impressive Star Trek Simm in the universe!!!  The time to join is now!

What happened to the site? I tried to check it out and got a message that the account has been suspended. Is this dead, or just temporarily disabled?

The technical difficulties we were having have been corrected.  The site, we are very pleased to report, is back up and running smoothly.  By all means, come by and check us out, and enlist in the greatest Star Trek Simm of the multiverse!

The newest recruitment drive begins now!  Shadow Fleet has plenty of opportunities for players who would love to participate in the Star Trek universe.  Those who join have a chance to serve on one of the four amazing starships in our fleet.  

The USS DISCOVERY - a fierce Akira-class Heavy Cruiser - has positions open in Operations, Flight Control, Medical, and Science.  The people have lots of fun with their missions, and are very ready to welcome some new people.

On the CHURCHILL - a beautiful Intrepid-class Science Cruiser - has openings in Flight Control, Operations, Engineering, Security, and Science.  The people on this ship are very helpful and fun to be around...never a dull moment.

USS GIBSON - the sleek Nova-class Science Frigate - has room for more personnel in Medical, Operations, and Science.  These people not only have a lot of fun, but their missions are always very interesting and enjoyable.

Last, but certainly not least, is the brand new Galaxy-class Heavy Explorer:  USS GETTYSBURG.  Here we could use some people in Science, Security, Operations, Flight Control, and Engineering.  This starship's first mission has already started, but it isn't too late to get in on the action!

With these four starships to get assigned to, and such a friendly community...why would you delay!?  Come and join now...for now is the time to be a part of the Star Trek universe in the greatest SIMM ever!!!

We at Shadow Fleet are extremely impressed with the recruitment level that has happened over the past couple of days.  Thus far, we have had four new personnel sign up and are already being active!  These four new members are:  Barrat Wallace, Joanna Langford, Tiberius Howard, and Ser Conely.

Life here at Shadow Fleet is really good.  We have a lot of new people coming in, and that can only mean good things for all of our writers!  What an exciting time to be a member of the single best SIMM in the multiverse!  Our newest member is Dimitri Brooks, and he is assigned to the new Galaxy-class USS GETTYSBURG as one of our new Science personnel.  He will be working with Lieutenant T'Ra Jones, the ship's Chief Science Officer, and soon be having a blast as the GETTYSBURG soon moves on to her second mission.  We are looking forward to seeing how our new arrivals post, and if any of them will do well enough to win the prestigious Post of the Month award come the end of March.

So, just went over the numbers thus far for the year, and I have to say, we here at Shadow Fleet are actually pleasantly stunned.  According to posting counts:  the site has reached a total of 56,734 posts over a five year period. The best part of these figures as that here have only just hit March for 2013 and already the post count for the year is at 8,735.  That is more than half of the posts we had total for all of 2012 - which was at 17,013!!  Clearly, we must be doing a lot right over here, and even more clearly - our players are having an absolute blast with their adventures!!!  The only question remains now is:  When are you all coming over to share in the fun!!
