and Jazz to listen to, some day, in the distant future.
They want some HEAVY DUTY Rock N' Roll ...

Given the current state of public education in this country, someday may be in the not so distant future.

They would probly look forward to the re-re-re- release of the JJ Abrams Star Trek films as their own century is way to boring even to live in.

God what I'd do for a real beer and not some holo deck chick...

- Seatbelts or safety restraints on official SF vessels. This glaring safety oversight has led to thousands of lawsuits from injured crew and passengers and threatens to bankrupt SF and the UFP.

- Time travel restrictions and regulations. The Galactic Citizens Against Time Travel Mischief and Abuse (GCATTMA) have been at the forefront of this issue and have resorted to guerilla tactics to force the UFP's hand on the matter.

- Redshirt Justice and Safety Unions have helped to lower redshirt mortality by 68% since 2388.

- Ambassador Spock was finally able to achieve Vulcan and Romulan reunification by travelling back in time to seek the assistance of the greatest minds ever known:

It seems Surak's teaching of pacifism wasn't the main point of contention. They fell out over cultural aesthetics. Both cultures received a makeover and are now logically content.

It is curious how often you humans manage to obtain that which you do not want. - Spock

Probably "alien" encounters to experience things that aren't normal for them.  Also, with entertainment, I'd think they'd like to use technology to do more with the senses (not just audio/video.)

Love this post, Treknoir.

I would add increased video survellience in sensitive areas of starships...especially when suspicious guests are on board.

On a serious note, I guess an even faster way to travel that doesn't damage the fabric of space. (Isn't there an episode of TNG where they have to put in a warp speed limit?)

Seatbelts or safety restraints on official SF vessels. This glaring safety oversight has led to thousands of lawsuits from injured crew and passengers and threatens to bankrupt SF and the UFP.

The majority of starfleet protests seatbelts and other safety restraints due to the higher probability rate of randomly exploding consoles. Meanwhile, the Federation is investigating the validity of many injury claims, the majority of which have been brought by the Ferengi Legal Commisssion.

Time travel restrictions and regulations. The Galactic Citizens Against Time Travel Mischief and Abuse (GCATTMA) have been at the forefront of this issue and have resorted to guerilla tactics to force the UFP's hand on the matter.

GCATTMA's call to arms is Captain Kirk's seventeen temporal violations, which have led Federation citizens and many alien governments to believe that Starfleet has possession of time travel technology and uses it consistently. Furthermore, this technology is stored on planet Talos IV, violation of which carries the penalty of death. Dulmer and Lucsly believe Section 31 is behind GCATTMA, stalling to maintain the secrets of time travel.

Redshirt Justice and Safety Unions have helped to lower redshirt mortality by 68% since 2388.

The Yellowshirt Safety Union argues the statistics are misleading given security officers no longer wore red shirts as of the 2350's.
