>I liked st 09, i grew up with tng/ds9/voy/ ent and the moives. The idea with st 09 is to bring a the younger genereation in to the franchise and keep the old still interested. I wish thought they make a st series set in the primeverse, there was something going around since august that someone picthed and idea to do a st series set in the primeverse post voy/nem! I want this. Nemesis wasn't the best st movie but it was good action movie. The enterprise looks alot better in nemesis, it a shame we did not get to see the finalized refit of the enterprise e. It was planned to be in nemesis but they had to cut it due to budget problems. At least we get a schimatic of it.

I Guess this movie is not so bad. If it gets the younger generation into scifi like Star Trek, it is actual a great movie. Because good scifi teaches good and moral leasons, and gets kids of all ages into science, math and enginering. Which more kids now a days should be getting into, as well as adults.

Watching good scifi is way better then letting your kids watch and idolize people like Peris Hilton and the people on the Jerrsy Shore.

Thank you SpearMintKing for opening my eyes to the good of this new movie. And keep on trekking, senserly Trekgirl101.

Glad you agree. My media teacher taught me this a while back and when you think about is makes sense. Like with most tv things are jsut remade versions of the orignall to modernize it and bring in a new genereation. I love scfi, atm i'm redoing my maths and science studies as i always wanted to be an aerospace engineer but my maths skills are not that good back when i was a teenager before that i was good at it. Now the i have the time and money i going to follow m dreams and my heart. And hope. Its is never to late. All realtiy tv shows are funny but ya gets repeative. Lately i have started watching more discovery channls again.

I'm not sure myself. J.J. has done a pretty good job of destroying trek.

First it's heartwarming to see that hallucinogens are still popular these days and secondly Cryptic's design is uglier than a mess of dead skunks stuffed into a septic tank.

More sleek than what?  A hungry whale shark?

Come on, you have to admit it looks good from some angles.

Huh. Well, everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

10 bucks sez people wouldn't complain half as much if it was an official Paramount design.

And for the record, the D was one of the fattest vessels ever.

I Borg'd yo mama last night. She found it very assimilating.

You might be right about the Odyssey.

But I think the Galaxy's stardrive section was too thin to justify the huge saucer.
