I'm not sure myself. J.J. has done a pretty good job of destroying trek. But perhaps this will be a way to shift the tide. I cant immagine that someone doesn't have an alternat plan for that new ship.
Not bad, Q. Not great, but not bad.

I hope they don't create a series with this ship in mind. Leave it in the STO universe.
If you want good story, read the books. The continuing story there has been excellent. This ship also flies in the face of the ship design theory the books have taken.

I hope not. Time to foxus on another ship, and I don't really enjoy the J design as canon.

Copy pasta
DS9 book series Millennium, Picard was captain of the USS Enterprise-E. He took Ensign Nog under his wing after Nog was assigned to the Enterprise. On stardate 52145.7, Picard attempted to intercept a Dominion warship carrying Weyoun. However, Weyoun escaped into the Pah-wraith wormhole. In 2381, the Enterprise was destroyed at the Battle of Rigel VII. According to Thomas Riker, a Starfleet hearing was called, since Picard had lost his third ship (the Stargazer, USS Enterprise-D, and Enterprise-E), but the case was dismissed and Picard was given command of the Enterprise-F in 2383, described as the "first of its class." In 2385, Picard accepted a promotion to admiral, and William T. Riker was given command of the Enterprise.

Well unfortunately for you, the J IS canon but the STO F is not.
And why has Starfleet been fading out necks but not has a cruiser with 2? The thing is an ugly beast. Its selection has cooled my enthusiasm for the game designers.

I really not keen on the design. Its too complex?
If you look back at the enterprises that have been and past. You'll see they aren't too complex.
Okay the Enterprise E was a bit more complex than ususal.
I thought riker was in command of the Titan. IN CANON
p.s. Necks are one of the most important parts to their ships. I think they are starting to go a bit original sci-fi in their ship designs. the ships in star trek helped make it stand out from other sci-fis

J is not exactly canon is it? Archer saw it in a possible timeline were the Sphere Builders were defeated in the 26th Century, however, given that now that battle won't happen, can we stills ay the J's canon?
One could argue that the Xindi, and their inflex of designs and such which seem to lead to the J design, came into Starfleet earlier, or not at all, meaning that the J will not be as we saw it in Enterprise and subsequently.
That's my belief at any rate.

The battle with the sphere builders WILL happen. It wouldn't happen if Archer failed because then the UFP would never have been formed. That said, we've only OFFICIALLY seen the J on a wall schematic so its exterior is not set in stone.
Anywho, the J looks WAY better than the 1701-Fail.

I'd love a movie with a future enterprise like the Enterprise J, But I'd want a better captain than the one they show in Enterprise. He's just kinda weird
A series with the Enterprise J would be good if it were written better than some ST shows *Cough*Enterprise*Cough*. lol...

I do like the Enterprise F, it's like a cross between The Enterprise E and Voyager. It's nice.
