Enterprise on BluRay

So - Enterprise was filmed in High Definiton and is streamed that way and was shown on HD Net for months uncut. Why not release it on BluRay so those of us with the setups can enjoy it the way it was meant to be seen? I understand that TNG and DS( were done on tape in post production, making them unusable for upgrading but Enterprise just has to be packaged! Paramount strikes fools gold again. They have never recognized a market when it's in front of their faces. I know it's a niche market but it's there and it's a loyal one. I've been holding off on Enterprise precisely because I've been waiting for the BluRay. Anybody know anything about this?

I guess people are weighing the cost with the future of distribution (downloading). This is weird, and true of many shows.

It means I'd have to buy them over again, and a Blu-Ray player can play regular DVDs--but my husband and I haven't bothered with any of the other series yet because Paramount is keeping the prices unnaturally jacked up. Meanwhile, I have a limited amount of Mal and Trip to watch (not enough Malcolm!), and no one is doing anything about it!

//sigh// "...so many (male) (Human) Starfleet officers, so little time..." Serit, feeling illogically emotional right now

I missed Enterprise when it first aired because I was in college and without cable TV at the time. I recently started watching through the series here on the website and I must say I'm hooked... it's quickly becoming my 2nd favorite series behind TNG.

I'd love to buy the complete series on Blu Ray, but alas, it's not availble. Once I started buying into the Blu-Ray format I decided that I wouldn't buy anymore DVDs unless the source material was never in HD from the start.

Buying the DVDs whent the source material was originally in HD is just... illogical; I'd rather just watch them through the website.

Welcome to the ever growing number of fans who found Enterpise in re-runs and recognize it for the awsome work of science fiction that it is.

The connection that she and Trip had shared was no mere casual dalliance. It was identical to the link that united two of her oldest friends in the bonds of Syrrannite marriage. And that makes Charles Tucker my mate, she thought. In a much truer sense than Koss ever was. BENEATH THE RAPTOR'S WING

Probably weighing up whether they can produce a Babylon 5-style "Lost Tales" extra movie, set between Terra Prime and These aren't the Voyages... with a tuppence halfpenny budget, a redress of the Kelvin set from JJ's film and whatever props weren't auctioned off by Christies'.

Okay. Maybe not.

Giving viewers an alternative opening title sequence, for those who never made it beyond "Faith of the Heart" might be an idea though.

Then again, that's more the type of attention grabbing thing TV reruns should try. If you're buying Enterprise on Blu ray, you either love or tollerate the theme song by skipping past it, using the remote... I do that all the time during the Xindi missions, because it felt so completely out of place that season.
