Star Trek

Roddenberry.com won't be holding their usual Thursday night party this year at the Las Vegas Star Trek convention.  (I know, I know - I'm disappointed, too!)

So, does anybody know if any other corporate types / fan sites / fan groups / film companies / etc.  are holding parties anywhere in LV during convention week?

If not, maybe we can cobble together our own StarTrek.com Discussion Board party - let's shoot for Thursday, August 11th.  Whaddya say?  Thanks.

There's a group on Facebook called The Unofficial Star Trek Las Vegas Convention 2011 and I know there's a couple of fan gatherings at the Rio (McFaddens Bar).  We plan to be there and meet up with friends.
