I'll use this thread to say that of all the STAR TREK that's out there,
THE NEXT GENERATION is the only series that really satisfies ...
I LOVE it!!!

All Star Trek series have their moments, good and bad, but for reasons I'm not completely sure TNG is easily the best.
Although, Farscape and 1st season of 24 give some good rivalry.

You obviously haven't seen enough DS9. It DEFINITELY satisfies!

Sounds good to me, chicky. And you're right ... I'm not intimately familiar with DS9. I own very little of it, in fact. But every time I see it ...
I'm always kind of put off by its STAR TREK sheen. DS9, probably more than any of them, would've benefitted much more from that ALIEN, gritty ... used ... realistic look, apart from just the general "darkness" they tried to interject. The exact opposite of TNG, really, when you think about it. But for TNG, I have to say, it really worked.

People can really go overboard with the face powder when dressing up as Data... o.o I mean, I just saw a picture of a Data imitation, and he literally looked like a ghost.
And yes, Janewayjunkie. Data is EPIC.
Hey, I wonder why there isn't a Data head over there in the icons...

I'm trying to mix up some paint for a Data costume for a mini sci-fi con at my library. I tryed just white, then I realized that he really is more gold than white. tried that, it looks FAB.
Oh, my, never said that word before. FAB. I quite like it actually...

I am new to this place, so forgive me if I am asking this question in the wrong forum. I am not a serious ST collector, but I have picked up a few collectibles over the years. I am puzzled by one these collectibles in particular. It is a 4-inch by 4-inch 3-D photo (promotional) of Picard with a very menacing looking Data in the background. Looks like it might be to promote "Insurrection" movie. I think the person that gave it me years ago said they got it when they purchased something (i.e., breakfast cereal, etc). Does anybody out there remember this 3-D card. It is actually a wonderful photo and I love it. Just would like to know a little bit more about it. I haven't been able to find this photo anywhere on the internet. Thanks for your help...
