Neelix lost his lungs to the Vidiians in "Phage", and got a replacement one from Kes. So Kes and Neelix have one lung each.

I actually hated Voyager when I first saw it. A friend of mine was always wanting to watch it whenever she came over, but, being a good host, I let her watch it. After she and I went our separate ways though, for some reason I just felt compelled to try it again. I will never know why. But before I knew it, I was obsessed with it!!! And it got me interested in Star Trek in general! Now I'm going through the Next Generation because it's supposedly the best. It is good, I'll give TNG that. But it doesn't beat Voyager!!! Seasons 4,5, and 6 are the best!!!

^ Wait till you get to DS9. In my opinion, it blows VOY and TNG (at least, what I've seen of TNG so far) out of the water.

I tried DS9, and I couldn't stand it!!! Besides, it's not even on a ship!! I tried to watch it, I really did. I just couldn't do it.

Well, it's not for everyone. How far did you get?

I saw the first part of the pilot, the mirror episode with Tuvok, and the episode with the USS Bellerophon. Oh, and a few minutes of the one with Robert Picardo in it. I know it's not that much, but still...

I see...it's best when you watch from start to finish - that way you get to know the characters, the setting, and the station (which does start to feel like a "ship" in no time at all). Once you get through the first two or three seasons, you'll probaby be hooked.

That said, it's not for everyone. You may end up disliking it anyway. But trust me, it's worth a shot.

when I first saw voyager for the first time it made me happy that I could understand it, I use to hate startrek and voyager got me interested; it made me have a love to startrek that I never had before..and made me go over and watch other series... I think I went backwards with startrek but I loved it each step of the way.
