Riker: How hard do you think it will be to get the emotion chip out of Data Geordi

LaForge: It depends on how hard it is to deactivate Data. If i can turn him off quickly it should be easy to remove it, or at least deactivate it.

Reade: -suddenly screams and seems to wake up-

Crusher: -runs over and holds her down- Will, help me

Reade: LET ME GO!!! -screams- LET GO OF ME!!! -delusional-

Riker: -runs over to help hold her down- Whats happening to her doctor

Crusher: Im not sure, she was fine a moment ago

Reade: LET GO OF ME!!!! HELP!! HEEEELP!! -screaming- LET-ME-GO!!! HEEE-   -collapses again-

Crusher: This is the strangest virus Ive ever seen. I need to find a cure before Worf gets to this stage.

Worf: -Drags Data through the door-

Data: -crying- Please dont do this, why cant i feel the same things you get to feel

Crusher: Data, listen to me. The emotion chip was given to Ensign Reade by Lore, and Lore did something to it so that you are giving people a virus. We have to remove it for the sake of the ship. If Geordi can fix it he can install it again.

Reade: -eyes open, looks around still laying down- D-doctor. Whats happening, I...I cant move

LaForge: Doctor you take care of the Ensign ill take care of Data -Deactivates Data and removes the emotion chip- there that should solve the problem.

Riker: Now lets turn him back on so he can solve this virus problem

Crusher: -explains what happened to Reade-

Reade: Am...am I dying

Crusher: -pauses, looks around the room at everyone- Its very possible

Worf: -Collapses onto the floor-

Riker: Reactivate Data now Geordi

LaForge: -Reactivates Data-

Crusher: Will, help me get Worf onto the table. Data, you need to figure out how to cure Worf and Ensign Reade

Reade: -closes eyes and just listens because shes so weak, still concious-

Riker: -Helps Worf onto table-

Data: If i am reading the symptoms correctly then there is only one possible cause -sets about making a cure-

Reade: -gasps, shudders, slips back into coma-ish thing-

Crusher: You better hurry Data....were loosing her

Reade: -very faint, barely audible- Will

Data: I am working as fast as i possibly can but the formula is more complex than a normal person could imagine.

Reade: -opens eyes and looks directly at Riker, catching his eye-

Riker: What is it Ensign.
