I said Sisko as well. They were all good and they all had their weaknesses and annoying traits. But Sisko was the one that just got under my skin.

Without a doubt Janeway. She just got on my nerves and I couldnt accept her in the role of captain. Kirk will always be the best!

style="margin-bottom: 0in;">I say Sisko was the worst.  Brooks's acting sucked.  He seemed like he was trying to combine Shatner & Stewart.  Sisko blamed Picard for Wolf 359

>

He seemed like he was trying to be his own captain, not just a copy of Picard like Janeway. As for the Wolf 359 thing, when your wife is killed,it usually has lasting repercussions in your mind. This anger must be directed at something, and it is understandable that it is directed at Picard.

Obviously you haven't seen the last episode. How many have you watched? 2?

For me, it is a tie between Archer and Janeway, but if forced, I would have to say Janeway.

On the other side of the coin, I say Kirk is the best with Sisko a very close second.

Fair comment.

I don't think I have seen the last episode. I got so bored of the series and irritated by the likes of Nerys (and anybody and anything Bajoran); Bashir; and especially O'Brien that I just drifted away from it. I reckon I saw at least the first two full seasons and possibly much of the third, and some of the fourth. After that it was sporadic and I really don't remember - possibly because I had got past caring - and recognised that it was a poor-man's version of the infinitely superior Bablylon 5, from which it had obviously nicked most of its premise anyway.

In fact, the only pulling power left in it was Armin Shimerman's remarkable portrayal of Quark.

Sisko was just so-so to me. I neither loved nor hated him. He didn't elicit much of a response from me at all. If you are telling me that I have to wade through seven years of tosh just to finally see the character come alive - then I'm not sure I am prepared to do that. However, if I could watch the last few episodes in isolation - then perhaps I will do.

I was quite suprised to find Janeway to be so unpopular! I personally think she's cool!

Easily Janeway for me. She lacked consistency, was moody, and would twist the PD to fit her propose when she saw fit. She was strong, compassionate, and an effective leader but I don't respect her. Mulgrew seems disdainful of her time in trek as well which doesn't help.
