it was really hard for me to pick one!!!! i had a three way tie between Q, Lwaxana Troi, and Guinen.

Q i have a love/hate relationship with. he's really annoying yet he ends up teaching us something about our humanity we didn't realize (sometimes.)

Lwaxana is just so full of life but has her own problems that she deals with throughout the times she was in episodes

Guinen i liked because she ususaly says something that makes you change your outlook on life.

I voted for Guinan. Like many a bartender, always had an ear to listen to the crews problems. Also liked Luwaxana, she could be counted on to be a nuisance, especially to Picard.

Anyone know how to make a poll where you can vote for more than one? It would indeed be helpful!

I like most of the characters on the list, but I've got to vote Q.

Michelle Forbes as Ro was on a few times, I think a total of eight.
Also, she played the daughter of an alien guy L'waxan was in love with.
She's still pretty, but during TNG's run, Sweet Surrender ...
her beauty was unlikely to be duplicated on that series.

I can't choose just one! I like Ro, O'Brien, Guinan, and Barclay.

I'm okay with Q, but I wouldn't call him my favorite recurring character, even though his episodes are fun to watch.

All Q episodes are fun to watch. I love the interaction between him and Picard

Broke Picard´s heart? I wasn´t aware that he was in love with her - other than a sort of paternal feelings!

Can´t blame her for joining the Maquis either.

And on a personal note, I´ve finally been able to make my decision here, and voted for Barclay. He is a very likable character, and all his eps are great.

That was in the end the reason why I preferred him over Lwaxana Troi - another great favourite of mine.

As for Q: TNG wouldn´t be the same without Q, but to say that he´s my favourite... no.

I have to go with Q. The episodes were thoughtful and funny (for the most part, the first couple weren't all that funny). Keep the Voyager episodes, however.

hard to beat Q's sassyness he always made me laugh no matter what. gotta have a little lighthearted comedy episode every now and then.

i disliked Q.  I voted Guinan.  I was split between here and O'Brien.

What about the wife of Worf K'Ehleyr?  She also returns as a vulcan Dr. who diagnoses Data's "Grandpa!" haha

Close tie between Guinan and Q, but I'm a fan of Whoopi Goldberg, so Guinan.
