What phaser setting did kirk use on the klingeon?

It was on the Kirk setting.


It's a little-known setting because basically the phaser becomes useless after that.


(sarcasm, please don't consider real! I believe the Memory Alpha site does its best to define it as a type of kill setting, but the real world explination is that it was just a new effect leonard Nimoy decided to do)
