Speaking of rain, why would anyone choose to live in Seattle if they are just going to complain about rain all the time? Pretty sure we are famous for being the rainy city. Unless they just love complaining about something that doesn’t really matter, thus annoying those of us who greatly enjoy the rain.

And why is warm sunny weather always referred to as “nice”? Yes, because everyone wants skin cancer, heat stroke and sun burn/tan. Not to mention having to wear sunglasses unless you have really light insensitive eyes that is.

Regardless of my apparent heat intolerance, wouldn’t one prefer a nice cloudy day, with the sun just peaking out every now and then?

There, my thoughts on weather in the NW.

Jolan Tru, may your day be filled with peace.

The only issue I have with heat is that it makes it next to impossible to sleep properly at night. *sigh* I wish this house had air conditioning, but it doesn't. Other than that, I'm good. Though... I hope the weather is good enough this year for me to set up my pool. The weather's been poor these last few years.

Indeed, it is already too warm here for me to sleep comfortably half of the nights. Quite bothersome since I also cannot sleep without a blanket of some kind over me. And the city is a bit too loud at night to open the window.

My hand muscles hurt badly and I am not sure why :/

Today I got off the bus early with my friend coz we wanted to go to the library. We knew where to go and stuff, but we didn't realise how long it'd take! It took us about 40mins to get to the library! (Of course, we did stop off and get a pie on the way... omnomnom!!!!)
Well, I think the walking/talking was good. I found out all this stuff I didn't know, he's an anime fan - and we decided we'd go to the Armageddon Expo togther this year (its a massive convention in NZ for sci fi, anime, comics etc etc).
We finally got to the library at, like, 5.00pm! We hang out there for 1/2hr till closing time, got a few books out, then headed off for the trek home!
On the way home I found out he'd a semi-Batman fan too, and as I'm a huge Batman fan, we finally have somfin in common, lolz!

You know what annoys me? The way my school's High School Student's Union is run. It's basically one giant popularity contest. People do not vote on how well they think that person will do in a position of power, instead, they vote on how much they like that person or how much others like that person. It's idiotic, and unfortunately, that's pretty much how any other government is run. No wonder the world is corrupt. No wonder I have a deep hatred of the government.

*sigh*

I think I'm going to go watch First Contact again.

My eyes are on fire. My left eye has been twitching all day and it's getting really annoying. It was quite hard to see what I was doing when we mixed solutions of Strontium Nitrate and Copper (II) Sulfate together (made a precipitate which resembled thick milk, Strontium Sulfate, and a blue liquid that resembled Romulan Ale, Copper (II) Nitrate... I hope I got those right. That experiment was a few hours ago).

Of course, I woke up this morning and had one of those "Uh, oh" moments. I felt ill when I woke up... Now I have a massive sore throat and a nasty cough. *sigh* Of course, at least 10 people in my class are sick right now. Knowing my immune system (or rather... Lack of a decent immune system), I probably picked it up from one of them.

Goodbye. I am gone.
