Now here's the time to speak your opinion on who was the best enemy on the original episodes. I know, I know I missed quite a few names that can be mentioned thats why I placed a other option… I am anxious and excited to here your opinion on who was best played and the unlit-mate Star fleet enemy...

Totally Romulans. They were just so clever and weren't as stupid (and by that I am referring to thier intelligence). That made them an awesome enemy.

I'm more for the Gorn enemy, I mean it was an epic battle with kirk and the lizard man until kirk somehow make a cannon with diamond projectiles.

I have to go with the Romulans. They were cunning, but they also had a certain nobility to them as well.

Yes but romulans are basically the anti-vulcans, that think is a little too related to the main character to be a good enemy

In TOS the Romulans came off as Vulcans with attitude. We didn't know much about them and that made them a very good enemy.

The Romulans had a strong intial outing with Balance of Terror. They should have been a bigger part of the show. But I guess it worked fot ehm in the end, since all that air of mistery turned them into a great nemesis. (lol, pun intended)

True, True but the gorn, is a classic character that will always be remembered as the lizard man destroyed by gunpowder and diamonds...

I've always felt that the best enemy in TOS was Khan, but that may be due to the fact that Montalban did such a good job as Khan. He really did bring the character to life.

Second best enemy: the Romulans. They were better in TOS than any other series. The Romulans actually seemed like a worthy opponent in TOS.

Third best enemy: the Klingons. I've always loved the Klingons. They caused trouble wherever they went.

Goodbye. I am gone.

The Romulans were terrific, the Klingons were great, but what about . . . Khan!

To me Khan was the single best antagonist in the series.

I know of the Fraggles from Fraggle Rock and the Tribbles of Trek...

"Let me see if Ive got this straight. You're risking the ship, the crew, and the mission on the assumptions that Helkara and Leishman are engineering geniuses, Tharp is a piloting savant, our transporter chief can work miracles, and the Breen are unwilling to sacrifice themselves in a kamikaze attack?" "Yup." "Damn I LOVE this job."
