when I start to think of people as friends it's nice to put a face to the name.  But for the most part I like that we all have to deal with each other's words without any of the other stuff that usually interferes with our perception of people.

Exactly. There is no concern spent over physical appearances because it is irrelevant here. If you get "close enough" to certain posters and want to share more personal info, kudos to you. Heck, I am on Facebook with Matthias... but I enjoy the fact that people can only judge me by my writing skills (or lack thereof) and my snazzy graphics.

Besides. . . if I started posting pictures of myself, every man out there would be spamming my profile.    

Yeah Im pretty much with you on that. I tend to not judge a book by its cover and just think its nice sometimes to see the cover. But its not important unless maybe a specific friendship is struck up. I am careful about who I let onto my FB account, not that I post on there much anyway.

wissa, why must you always assume the worst ? I just find Ezri interesting, though a slight irritant at times, I just imagine her as a lovely red head, ME, a lady at con told me I look like a young Tony Curtis.. If I may, wissa, what color is your hair ?

My God, you are unique, clearly you have a look special to your vibrant personality, I can imagine you riding your motorcycle in a slow fashion.   

Treknoir, though clearly you can get under my skin sometimes, with  your astute knowledge of certain things it can be a bit overwhelming, truely you must have a special presense as well, thus, I envision you with shoulder length back hair, with clear skin the color of rich honey with a touch of brown in your eyes, is my vision correct ?

Nope I wouldnt say red is a particularly special look, its just what i did before it was fashionable and what Ill do after.

Im sure theres plenty you can imagine Id rather not hear about.
