I have some things discussing starfleet, but I decided to pick the klingons to see if they have anything good. I'm nearly admiral(ah, brigadier general) so i'd wish to see what class I should get, what shi of the class, and the best equipment available. I would be fine, but im always getting attacked by advanced and fleet escorts, and they come from behind and hammer me before I can fire. I would like to also learn how to make their days miserable.

In pvp, a Klingon is king. usually. If you want a good all around ship, BoP is the way to go. good handling, universal bridge officer slots, and battle cloak(cloak while in combat). If you want a good tank, the carriers have tons of crew which makes for quick repairs. But remember, in STO no class or specific ship has the advantage. It's all about how you outfit and play them. On the other hand, in my opinion, some ships just suck. As for defense against escorts, if they run cannons, tractor beam and move behind (BoP is good at this). If they run beams, use 'beam target weapons' or some such debuff. They'll usually like to pop all thier buffs and destroy in one quick set of attacks. By disabling the weapons, you let those timers run out and start on cooldown, giving you time to make you move or keep hammering them down.
