o.k. I know I am going to be bashed for this one.  But I never though wesley crusher was annoying.  Except for his last episode, that was a ridiculous story line.  After years of wanting to go to the academy and loving every minute on Enterprise he suddenly runs into displaced american indians on another planet and rebels ,then he discovers he is somehow like the traveler and disappears.  made no sense.  of course you are welcome to tell me  why you did or did not find wesley annoying. 

Never found Wes annoying either. I don't understand the hate toward him and never will. I'm with you on this one, brotha!

I liked Wesley as well. I never get why people say he was always say his character saved the ship too often. That only happened a few times throughout the series. How many times did Picard, Riker or Laforge end up saving the day? I thought the show was very balanced. Wesley was great!

I liked Wesley, never hated him, never thought he was annoying. Parts that MIGHT be annoying were actually funny to me, like something I enjoy repeating at awkward moments, "I feel weird, but also good!"

But anyway, I never found a real problem with Wesley, so yes, if you Wesley-haters could explain yourselves, I would really like to hear why you disliked the character so much, besides for his common description of simply being annoying or whatever.

Funny how none of the Wesley-haters have showed up on this topic yet, maybe the numbers who hate him have been exaggerated...

He never bothered me too much either although making him some kind of superhuman was a bit odd.

I don't hate the character, It's his portrayal that I cannot stand. The "Aw shucks, ma" approach that was taken there just kind of repulsed me. Perhaps that mixed with the overall outcome of his story arc just makes me want to skip any Wesley-centric episodes whenever I go back and watch TNG. I just feel that the character could have been writen better and been given a more realistic sort of portrayal. Bah, Maybe Worf should've hjust killed him for being on the bridge with NO AUTHORIZATION 

I see unbalance, so here comes me. I would throw Wesley out of airlock. But I am not certain, if he, as canon Mary Sue, wouldnt stay alive though.

I for one, don't find him annoying unless his doing his I'm-a-boy-genious-so-I-do-whatever thing. I liked his story as a trainee in Starfleet.

Fortunately or unfortunately, he failed to follow his parent's footsteps.
