I have both of the original Star Trek Monopoly sets (TOS, TNG). I know the DS9 and VOY sets were never produced (that we're aware of). Has there been any subspace transmissions about the future of this set? Why were they never produced? How can we encourage TPTB to create them? It's like they're trapped on the other side of the wormhole in the Gamma Quadrant.

Well, on Star Trek's facebook page there's a poll for which box art people like best for the new Klingon version...  So they're still cranking out new things.  This post will probably help; you could also go to the facebook page and make a few comments there.

I have no intention of buying star trek board games.  I used to play the old CCG and liked it but it got boring fast.  With STo, who needs boring old board games?  Their day has past.  Besides, there is no capitolism in the federation, lol.

To answer treknut1's question, there is a Star Trek Monopoly Continuum Edition which includes elements from all 5 series and the movies.

Secondly in response to Felderburg's comment on Klingon monopoly, yes it is true. The pre-order for the game started September 1st 2011 and will be avalible to order sometime in November. For more information visit http://www.usaopolygames.com/klingon/

I would rather have one that covered them all like that then get 6 more editions for sure.

Are you sure it isn't time for a colorful metaphor?

That kind of depends on what series you're most familiar with. If you're intimately familiar with one and not so much with others, the series-specific games might be better. For instance, I have considreable knowledge of TOS, and my knowledge of Enterprise is fairly decent. but what I know about TNG and Voyager is vague at best, and I know next to nothing about DS9. So the TOS one would be more my universe than the others.
