Actually, I would really like to see some Ferengi get slaughtered by a couple of Klingons... the Ferengi are great for stories and all, but don't they just piss you off to frak and back?
But the destruction of their planet is too impersonal, I want to hear them squeal! (I knew you were only kidding,  btw )

Why not have one of the main cast go bad ass? Methinks Chekov would be a likely candidate. He coulda' been persuaded by some evil dude to do some evil crap...
I realise that idea probably won't be a very popular one amoung most fans, but I think it could be a good plot device, if used well.

Well yeah 'cos I actually really do like Quark and Nog and Rom and all them.

ooh. Evil Chekov!! Dunno if the kid who played him in the 2009 movie could pull that off... But if it was future Chekov, Walter Koenig could probably make a good job of it.

Dr Janice Lester?

That made my funny bone tingle.

I still say it's the Klingons. They were mentioned and teased at with helmets on, before all their stuff was cut out of the movie. Which sucks because without it, Nero's character lacks a necesary backstory. Even more so, since all the Klingon stuff got cut out of the last movie, I can see Orci and Kurtzman wanting to right that wrong. And from a business perspective: everyone LOVES Klingons, and we already have some costumes designed and payed for. Why waste them?

Dunno -- How do people feel about Klingons as enemies (albeit not major enemies) in Enterprise?

I don't particularly want to see more fights with Klingons actually, but if --say-- you had an enemy, maybe not the Klingon Empire as a whole, but from an antagonistic House (Like Duras) that might work.
