Hi everyone,
New to the boards...

During its original run, I was such a fan of Voyager. It has ALWAYS miffed me that not one station has ever aired the show with consistant frequency in any market. Seems like everytime I do find a episode it's one here, one there and no rhyme or reason to why or when it's aired. As a result, I usually just catch it by chance.

I've also tried finding full episdoes on the internet but that's been more than a notion.

I'd love to own the series on DVD but I swear, they're just too expensive for a series that's been off the air for so long.

Anyone else having these same issues with Voyager reruns? Why has this show never been on TV with any regularity since it's original run?

Hopefully my reply won't be a double post.

Anyhoo, Thanks for the info. You're right the price has come down significantly, since they first came out on DVD. I remember when they cost more than a hundred bucks and now they $40. But I guess I'm just cheap, cheap, cheap. LOL.

Luckily for me, I got into Voyager when it was still airing regularly in syndication, back when Enterprise was still on the air.  By the time Voyager disappeared from TV, I'd seen a lot of it and knew that I liked it enough to invest in the DVDs.

Unfortunately, I've never seen Deep Space Nine air consistently in syndication, which is why it's the only Star Trek show I've never seen.  I wish they would post episodes from all the Star Trek shows on the site, so those of us who missed out could watch them that way.

Falor was a prosperous merchant who went on a journey to gain greater awareness: Through storms he crossed the Voroth Sea/ To reach the clouded shores of Raal/ Where old T’Para offered truth./ He traveled through the windswept hills/ And crossed the barren Fire Plains/ To find the silent monks of Kir./ Still unfulfilled, he journeyed home/ Told stories of the lessons learned/ And gained true wisdom by the giving. – Falor’s Journey, “Innocence”

Here in the UK all the Trek series' are shown daily, start to finsish then straight back to start again, they sometimes move channels but not often enough to make them hard to find. Im guessing these are all just UK based channels? But Ill get a list of whats playing when if thats any good?

I'll agree, I sure have a hard time finding them on TV. I've looked and looked, and the only ones I've seen aired here as reruns is TNG. It might boost interest of the series if they just played an episode or two........ oh well. We splurged and got all the DVD's. They are pretty expensive, but we just saved up a whole bunch of coupons and bought them then. *shrug*
