Star Trek

It has been nearly 6 years since they last made a tv series about the prime Star Trek universe. I watch the Mirror Universe episodes from the various series of the fandom. My favorite episode honestly is In a Mirror Darkly, and In a Mirror Darkly part II, and since that is a stand alone 2 part episode about the Mirror Universe they should make a tv series about it. I admit it's extremely violent and not about deep space exploration, but it has alot of conquest, and war which is something Star Trek needs.

I don't think there's any ounce of room left for me to disagree with you more than I do.

A Mirror Universe series would not work, nor would it be appropriate.

1. Star Trek does NOT need "alot of conquest and war." That is, quite frankly, the most ridiculous statement I've ever heard. It's like saying "football should be a non-contact sport played with a round ball." What you are proposing fundamentally changes what Star Trek is all about. What you're talking about is a video game, not Star Trek.

2. The Mirror Universe shows were interesting becuase they took the ESTABLISHED settings and characters and twisted them in interesting and different ways. That's really what made those episodes work. A series based entirely on the Mirror Universe has no "catch" becuase there's no "mirror." It's just a violent sci-fi show with people wearing Star Trek uniforms.
