This is an awesome discovery. One more step in understanding the nature of particles and gravity.

One more step in understanding how to create an FTL drive.

One more addition to the family of forces of nature.

One more advance for science.

Interesting, thanks for posting. I'm not going to pretend I understood eveything I read in the article, but I am always excited when new scientific discoveries are made.

However, this part of the article made me sad and angry:

The finding also could be a vindication for the Tevatron, which is set to close in September for budget reasons. While it was once the most powerful particle accelerator on the planet, it has recently been surpassed by the new Large Hadron Collider at CERN.

Z* is a particle which is required theoretically in supersymmetric extensions of Standard Model of elementary particles. Finding it is quite a step in experimental verfication of string theory. Anyway, it is quite shaky now whether folks have really discovered Z* experimentally or not.

Supersymmetry & string theory are both wrong.
The z* & Higgs Boson both have current predictions that are inaccurate
because of this. There IS no such thing as gravity,& mass is not the presence of something,
it is the absence. Mass is the result of subatomic binding forces, nothing more.
Twenty-nine years of research should give these guys a clue, something so huge & pervasive
should be EASY to find! Why can't they find it?
Because they have been looking in the wrong place, for the wrong thing!
Like unified field theory, they have insisted on asking the wrong questions!
Stop working from one unproven theory stacked on top of another, & start working from
plain old simple observation! I have the answers & experiments to prove it...
We are closer than any of you know to far more than FTL......
If you want to know, you will have to both be serious & determined.
I will not tell anyone anything unless they are willing to protect me & themselves from premature
revelation of my findings.....

Not in the least, these university based research guys are far more about proving their own intelligence than discovering anything new. The problem with dark age science was lack of critical thinking & lack of centralized & distributed DATA. Now they have gone to far in the opposite direction & become too dependant on these same things. New thinking, especially "out of the box" thinking is not just discouraged, it's chastised!
Very few of the last half-centuries great achievements have come from university research. The environment had become limiting, instead of enlightening. MANY years in that world have taught me this!
The truth is rarely complex in its summation. These U research moguls are looking to things more & more complex. Example; Look how long it took for chaos theory to be accepted, or fractals for gods sake, the ideas and research were around over a century ago!
All I have done is make a point of looking where they refuse to look & at phenomena they dismiss as "margins of error" or my favorite "laboratory curiosities."
Read up on Nikoli Tesla you will learn mounds!

Oh, it's OBVIOUSLY just a disgusting trolling. I just want to warn the other readers of the thread, who are interested in the real science, not to pay attention to this bullshit.

By the way, like every truly great scientist of the last 2000 years, I expect to be marginalized.
I actually welcome it! It means that I am doing my job!
Sorry for the errors, I am on Android using Swype.
It has the annoying habit of changing my spelling!
If you have the ability to understand physics at this level then answer me this; What is Planke's constant?
WHY is it needed? What phenomena does it explain? (hint: the right answers are NOT on Wikipedia!)
Otherwise, do me the favor of not wasting my time?
I'm here to seek those who are both able & willing to do some real blood & guts science!

To OBVIOUSLY,
I don't have time for the closed minded or defending my knowledge against sycophants.
I'm too old. I am looking for a research assistant.
A friend suggested that I might find an open minded person with the right skill set here.
So far the universities have been a waste of time.....
Things are probably not as bad as I have painted them, I am just ticked off that I can't find anyone who
is both open minded & not more worried about money than they are science!

Not even one bite? Not one serious challange?

Does anyone on this site have a brain or a set of cajones to go with it? BTW "your wrong" is not a challange, it's a cop out. Come on someone?

People I am serious. The subject of this thread should attract the right kind of minds. Are there really so few? And, none ready to exercise their merits?

Based on what I've heard here so far I have probably been at theoretical physics since at least ten years before any of you were born!

OK! Want a cookie? Define darkness for me?

Trying to define gravity, is like trying to define darkness. IT CAN NOT BE DONE! Gravity is the absence of influance of pi/n "strings" from 4^n space. Do the math. No field. No particle. f(M)=f(M)^-1 in a 10D space framework. NOT curvature of space/time. NOT a function of energy! Get the clue? If any of the current theories were right then ENERGY would be JUST as critical as mass! We all know, or should know, that it is not.

Want more? How about mass defect? You'll find this explains it perfectly.

"strings" by the way are NOT the correct idea. My original work was lifted by one of my "so called" instructors and expanded into the current model. It, however is flawed. It was based on assumptions that were not proven by observation.

More? Tell me what happened to the super-conducting super collider? Why was the project shut down?

Can you make an xray source from common household items that needs only mechanicle energy to work? I can, and I was doing it years before anyone else!

For Gods sake, at least CHALLANGE what I'm saying?

Ask some critical questions? Something?

I may have already said too much.....

Energy has NO effect on gravity. Only on kinetic mass.

Complex solutions like holo are interesting math toys and not much else.

Rubber bands are a better euphemism than strings, The real kikker here is how many REAL dimensions of space time are OBSERVABLE.

Answer= 10  4=real 4=real^-1 2= plain of interaction between the + and -

Like all great truths (e=Mc^2 , v=aM) of physics the answer has to find roots in the origin of all things. Meaning that the primary rules of an ordered universe begin with chaos and work their way to ever more complex systems. The roots MUST be simple.

This sort of thing has kept mankind in the dark ages forever. Avarage folks want to see great complexity in the function of the universe. Every extraordinary development in science was based in the realization of simple principals. Vis-a-vie Isacc Newton, Einstein, Copernicus etc etc.

Mine was pointed to by both Tesla and Einstein.

Currently working on M.Psych. toward Doctorate.

Males tend to be more competitive & prefer brute force methods. I.e. willing to take short cuts.
Females tend to be more detail minded & prefer to precede cautiously.

What part of the world are you from?
Are you at least 21?
What is your curriculum vitae?
Want to see and learn some cool shit?

HS grad? How's your math?
Calculus at least?

Tell me about the master?
Seems like he may be a "poser" since he has made no attempt to open a discussion with me!
You are too far away for me to be able to pay for you to relocate.
Even if you had the creds. No dis intended!
If your math skills are good or you know how to use sims software you might be able to help, & learn
some stuff. Maybe even get in on the "action" so to speak.
Unfortunately I will not be able to pay you, at least for the foreseeable
future!
I have a 17500 sq. ft. research facility here in Texas.
Right now it's just me & two volunteers.
We have an electronics lab, a chemistry lab, computer science lab, a metalshop, a wood shop, & are completing a cryo lab, a high temp lab, & more.
I need help to build a guided phased-wave collider & a proton/anti-proton source.
I need engineering help to design superconducting conduits & ultra high temp "skin effect" conductors.
I have millions of dollars of equipment, tools, materials, & supplies.
As it stands, I have enough left in my budget to keep the lights on & pay a meager salary plus room & board to a full time assistant for about two years, which should be enough time to get more grant money or produce something that can be sold to continue the work.
I'm only chatting with you here because every college student or grad I have approached insists on being "filled in" on the details of my work without protecting me & my supporters from losing control of the research.
If it's not that, then they are too closed minded to even ask questions about me or my research.

You have to love people who say other's are wrong and to not ask question's about what if's but only to follow. A baker telling someone that they are wrong refutiated with his own remarks of not knowing anything other than what he reads can be described simply as a Borg minded individual.

Dog of War - There are many things that science claims that have been debunked. The problem is that the more science makes discoveries the more we come to realize the falsities that accompany religion's apothetic approach to understanding.

Stay away from Einstein and concentrate more on Sir Isaac Newton as Sir Isaac Newton discovered what caused the apple to fall or more correctly stated pulled towards the Earth.

The Universe is still around 75% unknown. Eventually Einstein will be caste away like a dirty magazine that has pictures of women from the 1800's in it.

A baker and a half troll walk into a room....and then walk out.

The reason that the old LHC is being taken off line is because of technology. The only way for technology to be used to gather a better understanding of the Universe is too add the new technology to the old technology which creates new technology.

Perhaps baker you should just read what is posted and say yes that is possible while you toos your salad's and wash your dishes. Let me guess you are an expert now because you watch Marcel's Quantum Kitchen?

A bullfrog with a light in its belly is nothing more than a glutton looking to shine otherwise.
