In the episode "the royale" Geordi scans a planet and says that the planet has a temperature of -291 degrees celsius. This is impossible, because absolute zero is -273,15 degrees. Did anyone else notice?

Another celsius scale could be the explanation, but wouldn't they call it something else?

Did you know that more murders are committed at
92 degrees Fahrenheit than any other temperature?

I read an article once ...

At lower temperatures, people are easy- going, over 92,
it's too hot to move, but just 92, people get irritable!

Haven't heard of a lot of murders committed at Absolute Zero, though...

You'd try to reach up to strangle or stab someone, and then your arms would fall off. j/k.

hehe Maybe they have found out by then that you can get temps below A.Z. Nitpicks -- Beaming. You take someone's body apart and stick 'em back together, and they're still alive. Any universe where that can work can have a temperature of -291C.

Have you ever danced with a Tribble in the pale moonlight?

Hello there, OtakuJo!
I was just quoting Ray Bradbury
and his 92 Degrees Theorum - which
is about on par with yours, I must say ...

I'm sure this oversight makes this the worst episode of television in human history.

That's not what i meant, I just wanted to see how many others noticed. This mistake doesn't make me think any wors of the episode. Actualy I quite like the royale.

Since it is the 24th century, the federation could have discovered an absolute zero that is colder than 273.15 degrees celsius through it's vast knowledge of space. As for us, we have only explored Earth and the moon (as far as I know), so we may not see what else lies out there...
