dead means to have no life, If star trek died then why would there be trekkers/trekkies posting on the board? As long as there is trekkers/trekkies posting on the board star trek will be alive

Star Trek is alive and well to this day, waiting patiently for TPTB to set up a new series again. Of course, seasons 5-7 of Enterprise needs to be completed first!

I would have prefered if the made Star Trek: Adventine with Capt. Ezri on board than have Star Trek: ENT. The only good thins about ENT was the Andorians and the Xindi everything else was crap.

As long there are dvds and books and conventions and merchandise out there to sell, it is not dead. New movies, new tv series (I hope)....just gotta hold on.

I love Ezri and the Aventine. 2 big issues though. This combo wasn't dreamed up until long after ENT went off the air. How would this this series be any different than TNG with the exception of having different characters?

The concept of ENT was sound- how the UFP was forged, laying the foundation for starfleet. The temporal cold war was a mess, I agree. The show was given too many things to do in the beginning so it started out of focus.
