The only place I wouldn't wear it, is to work. I'm a greenhouse-nursery worker, and it would get destroyed there. That's simply too nice of a tunic to risk there.

I'd wear it anywhere I darn well pleased! And nobody'd better say anything about it, or they'll be heck to pay! Or something like that.

Since it is a formal uniform, I'd wear it to my work on special events. I work for NASA, so I would use the uniform when I review spacecraft development and testing efforts. I'd also wear it for when our mission launches into orbit!

I will wear it on special days when teaching science students or workshops for science teachers. Star Trek first sparked my interest in science so it would be great to be able to make ST a visible part of what I do professionally.

I would wear it to a local mall... Pretend as if I had been transported to a different time period... And be sure to have some friends discreetly film the reactions that I get from onlookers. 8D

To Vasquez Rocks of course! Of all the defunct sound stages, and plywood sets, this is one location that you can still go to, see, feel, and hear. And it's not much changed since the Gorn was vanquished there.
