Spiner is awesome. His acting is top-notch and he is an excellent singer as well. His album "Ol' Yellow Eyes is Back" is great. I've played it all the way through several times and I'm not even a huge fan of old time pop standards. For my fellow TNG fans, there is even one song "It's A Sin to Tell A Lie" that features vocals from Spiner, Patrick Stewart, Michael Dorne, Lavar Burton and Jonathan Frakes. Dreamland is great as well. If you haven't heard them, check them out.

I need to figure out something else to say about Brent Spiner to make this thread more awesome, as DocFan requests. I am not one of the listed people (its okay though! I'm more of a Janeway junkie myself....) but here I go:

Brent Spiner is by far my favorite actor. (Even better than Kate Mulgrew! Wow its a stretch for me to say that!!!) I only have 3 close friends who like Star Trek, and whenever one of my other friends ask me who my favorite actor is, I say Brent Spiner, and they say who's that, and I say oh just some guy from Star Trek it's not important.

And they roll their eyes, because after like 4 or 5 years I'm sure they're all sick and tired of hearing me talk about Star Trek all day every day 7 days a week. But I don't just like Brent because he plays someone on Star Trek (my fave TNG character, in fact), but he is a seriously good actor. I can't think of anyone else who could play Data even half as good. 1/4 as good even! And he's quite good-looking, amazing singer, he can do everything. Brent Spiner is my idol!    

So there's my contribution to make this thread more awesome.

The last Brent spiner thread has over fifty pages, and this one has only two. I think perhaps everything that could be sayd has been sayd, and that is probbably why the last thread "comitted suicide". That is also probably why this thread doesn't get much attention. People are simply tired of talking about him. That's my theory.

no. the other thread committed suicide because no amount of disinfectant could claen up what went on there. trust me, you don't want to know.
