McCoy mentions his daughter. Don't think he ever mentioned children before.
The fiance comes to talk to McCoy. Is he the ship's counseller too?
Interesting how Kirk walks into sickbay and notices there is one too many biobeds. You would think both McCoy and Spock would notice that first.
If I were Kirk, I wouldn't let the girl who is emotionally attached to their new prisoner guard him. She has already let him escape once.
This is the episode that introduces M'Ress which is cool since I love her in New Frontier. She is clearly voiced by Majel Barrett also.
This was an okay episode. It wasn't too original, though.

I'm only six episodes in, but I'll have to disagree that many are "copies". Many of them try the same basic plot but copies would be like the TNG episode where they encounter the same virus from TOS. I jhave noticed many of the plot concepts from TOS are repackaged for ALL the other series.
