I've never had any problem posting images, and I've noticed other people complaining about it.  I think I just worked out why people have been having problems.


The code people have been using is: {img src="image source"} (with <> instead of {})


While this is valid HTML, this site is written in XHTML, so people should use:


{img src="image source"/} (with a trailign slash - /> instead of just > )


It might have nothing to do with it, but I spotted the DOCTYPE declaration and just had a thought.  Maybe it will help

Interesting. I think you might be onto something, Dendodge.


Although I have never had problems posting it with the first code, it could be a solution for other folks.

HTML isn't that hard to learn, really.  I don't see the need to use BB code when HTML works just as well and saves the server kitties.

Marshal's first attempt used { } instead of < >


I did say that you have to change them in the original post

Just too bad they don't have an image capability in the reply buttons to make it easier for the non-techies.
