Riker needs to be in the new trek movie as the captain. he is a very capable commander but we havent seen him in the captains seat engagement

Kirk is the better captain.

Riker was good in the titan series but on TNG he was arrogant and in love with himself. He choose one woman over his career. Kirk choose his catreer over many women. LOL
