I have just released my new game called iTrek for iPhone and iPad. It is an iPhone version of the 70's classic game Super Star Trek.

This is great, I loved that game way back when...

So, I notice you changed some of the names, but other than that there is still some Trek branding - did you have any issues getting this by the iTunes approval process? I ask because I am working on a Trek-related product as well (not in competition with you), and have been unable to get a dialogue going with CBS to get a license. Wanted to know how you managed to release a game and charge for it without any problems. Just curious.

Thanks for the nice comments. Apple approved the app without any problem. I removed all the Trek references (specifically names) that I thought could create a problem. I may still be in some kind of violation, but for now it seems OK. There are a lot of unlicensed Star Trek apps on the app store. I think they are just tolerated.
