HAHAHA!!!!

But...if we COULD.......

Of course what MR meant to say was "keep my wife - a sexy piece of female flesh - next to my desk at work"

As for me that would not work so well, seeing as I wait tables for a living.

What happens on the forums . . . , right buddy? Lol.

I think that was Data, actually. Troi was eventually trained by Riker in how to command if I remember clearly.

It was Data that was second officer. Troi added some joy in the crew, and half-Betazoid does have its advantages. However, with the chain of command, she would tie with Dr. Crusher with command. Although, in Nemesis, Data put Troi in command when he went to the Scimitar.

No, Neelix was an idiot scavanger who could barely get out of his way. Troi was a trained Starfleet officer, hodling the rank of Lt. Commander, and was capable of passing the bridge officer's exam.

So, I'd argue that it's a wee bit different. But, that's just me.

But BEFORE she became a Bridge Officer, I think she was only there to help the Captain assess new species as harmless or harmful.
