This mother gave her adopted son hot sauce in the mouth as a form of punishment.

Do you guys agree with this?

I personally think she went too far for just a little lie. I would have only used a drop of it on the lips for curse words. But lieing would involve regaining trust and earning back respect.

So what are your thoughts on this issue?

It is assault and possibly "grievous bodily harm." What a "charming woman!"

It's strange, being a catalyst for things that move outside.

The article doesn't give enough information. What kind of hot sauce was it? If it was a mild variety, then it was in no way, shape, or form child abuse. If it was an extremely hot kind, then that's a different story.
