right click on the picture. click "copy." paste into microsoft powerpoint. rightclick on it again. click "save as picture." Save it. Go to this website and go to "mange my profile." Under avatars, there should be a button that says "browse." find where you saved the picture. click "open" then save the changes to your profile. thats how I got my avatar.

although... if you have a mac, I cannot help you.

Oh, and Roboto, if you're not already too bogged down with requests, could you possibly do a signature similar to the one that TheDoctor requested, but with "Randomness?! My Specialty!" as the quote? It would be really great of you...

Ok, I'm not exactly tech savy so, how do you upload your photos to your avatar?

Right click on the image, click "Save As", and save it at some accessible location on your location such as your desktop.

Next, go to your profile. Click "Manage My Profile Information". It will take you to a place where you can select a default avatar or upload one of your own.

Hope you don't mind me jumping in, Roboto.

Absolutely marvelous.

Thanks, MaskedMarvel, LOL. You have it right on the nose.

Right here, Tureaz! I am never far. . . *cackle*

LCD, I have some news that will make you happy- I finished your signature today; spent the afternoon on it. I hope you like it... but if you do not, let me know, alright? *crosses fingers*

I suggest SAVING this image to YOUR computer, in case I accidentally delete it from my Photobucket- because when you put that link in your signature, the image will (of course) disappear if I ever stop hosting it. So, my suggestion- if you have a photobucket, upload it to yours and use your own link. If you do not, that is fine, but make sure you have it saved on your computer in case you ever need it.

You already have an image in your signature so I do not think I need to explain how to post one, hehe.

Aww, thank you. I am fine, just busy-busy... my mother and I are still reeling in the aftermath of my dad's heart attack, and then Chicago got buried in a mountain of snow that we have been dealing with. It really has been crazy.

He is moving along! He is home, happy to be there, but very unhappy at the amount of drugs he has to take and the amount of inactivity he is forced to endure. My dad likes to be up and about, not sitting on the couch all day every day for weeks on end. Top that off with the side effects that some of the medication has caused, and the tests he is up to take at the hospital- well, he looks forward to "normalcy" again... as we all do.

You are welcome! Hey, if my work meets the approval of someone actually studying graphic design... then I am happy.

The drugs can be temporary.

I would suggest that your dad go to a DR. to get it re "assessed."
