When Armin Shimerman was 15, his family moved to Los Angeles, where his mother enrolled him in a drama group in an effort to expand his social circle. He later graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, then was selected to apprentice at the Old Globe Theater in San Diego.

He first appearances as other Ferengi characters in the Star Trek: The Next Generation  episodes "The Last Outpost and "Peak Performance".

Wondering: this John Hertzler mentioned, could that be same guy who plays the second alcalde (Ignacio De Soto) in New World Zorro?

The countess Regina Bartholomew (Professor Moriarty´s love interest) is also seen as a successful author and mother to one of the girls from Troop Beverly Hills.

And of course the movie Corrina Corrina features Guinan! As well as a little appearance of Data :-)

I don't have links, but I know I've seen Trek actors on the various Law and Order series throughout the years. Same for CSI.

Ray Walston (Boothby - TNG  VOY) was also seen on South Pacific (1958), The Apartment (1960), Paint Your Wagon (w/ Clint Eastwood & Lee Marvin 1969), The Stng (1973), Fast Times at Ridgemount High (1982), and was a regular on Picket Fences (1992-96). He also appeared in the 1999 version of 'My Favourite Martian'.

Robert Beltran graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in Theater Arts and moved to Los Angeles to begin his acting career. He has been working steadily since 1979 in both theater and film. Beltran had his first film role in Zoot Suit in 1981, but his breakthrough came in 1982 when he played Raoul in the cult classic film Eating Raoul. Beltran also had a supporting role as Chuck Norris' partner, Deputy Kayo in Lone Wolf McQuade in 1983 (this film was also the basis for the TV series Walker, Texas Ranger.
