As I mentioned in another thread, Malcolm McDowell from Star Trek: Generations was also likely best known for being Alex on 'A Clockwork Orange'. He also starred in movies through a forty year career such as Caligula, If...., Blue Thunder, Cat People, and dozens of other movies.

There comes a time when the odds are against you and the only reasonable course of action is to quit... That's when you turn to Star Trek.

Siddig El Fadil (Alexander Siddig) is known for playing Dr. Julian Bashir in the television series Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, and for his performances as Prince Nasir Al-Subaai in Syriana (2005). He has also guest starred on 24 as Hamri Al-Assad. Siddig co-starred in the award-winning film Cairo Time (2009) as Tareq Khalifa. Siddig was born in Sudan and has spent most of his life in England.   In 1996, Siddig and his co-star Nana Visitor became involved – their son, Django El Tahir El Siddig, was born on September 16, 1996, and the couple married on June 14, 1997.

Another interesting Star Trek fact... Siddig's uncle is Malcolm McDowell, and they both starred in the 2008 movie Doomsday. Malcolm also of course starred in the movie Star Trek Generations, and actually received death threats when people found it was his character that killed James T. Kirk. His other famous movies were If.., Time After Time, Blue Thunder, the first two Halloween movies, and of course A Clockwork Orange. Malcom was born in Leeds England.
