Today I was watching a Voyager episode from season two called "Initiations" with guest star Aron Eisonberg. Aron was a regular on Deep Space Nine as Nog.

He made his first acting appearance in the 1989 movie Beverly Hills Brats, in which Whoopi Goldberg made a cameo appearance and Star Trek stunt coordinator Dennis Madalone played a store clerk. Also in that year, he starred with Lawrence Tierney in The Horror Show. His last movie of that year was Amityville 4: The Evil Escapes, also starring Warren Munson.

I'm watching Voyager again today, a Season 2 episode called 'Non-Sequitor', where Harry Kim finds himself awakening on Earth in San Francisco next to his girlfriend, Libby, whom he had dearly missed. He finds he's in a different reality, or timeline... His wife Libby is played by Jennifer Gatti, who also played a half Klingon half Romulan woman who Worf meets on a TNG episode called Birthright (I & II) from season 6.

She is notable for her portrayal as the first Dinah Marler on Guiding Light from 1986 to 1987, As well as for her role of HIV-positive character Keesha Monroe Winters on the CBS soap opera The Young and the Restless from 1995 to 1996.

There are a number of Trek (TOS) guest stars that appeared on the corny Batman episodes in the 60s...

Frank Gorshin played The Riddler on Batman and Bele in "Let That be Your Last Battlefield." And two of Batman’s Catwomen dropped by the final frontier: Lee Meriwether (Losira in "That Which Survives") and Julie Newmar (Eleen "Friday’s Child"). Roger C. Carmel (Harry Mudd) played Colonel Gumm on Batman and Yvonne Craig (Marta "Whom Gods Destroy") played Batgirl (aka Barbara Gordon).

Tonight I'm watching 'Silence of the Lambs'... and there is our old friend Charles Napier, one of the 'space hippies' in the TOS episode 'The Way to Eden'. He played Adam, and even sang a few songs. He had bit parts in other movies like 'The Blues Brothers.

After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1954, serving with the 11th Airborne Division and rising to the rank of sergeant.

After his service, he attended Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, graduating in 1961 with a major in art and minor in physical education. He wanted to be a basketball coach and his first job was as an assistant coach at his old high school. Soon after, he gave up coaching, eventually taking jobs with a bridge company and an advertising agency before moving to Clearwater, Florida to teach art at JFK Junior High School.

He was in dozens of movies from 1970 to 2009. He died suddenly in 2011 possibly from a stroke.

Today I'm watching a TNG episode from season 4 called "Final Mission", in reference to Wesley Crusher's last appearance before he goes off to Starfleet Academy. Wesley, Picard, and an alien Dirgo crash land on a desert moon, and fight to find water to hold off until help arrives.

Dirgo is played by Nick Tate, who many of us science fiction fans remember from Space:1999, produced by Gerry Anderson in the mid 1970s. He also did voice-overs on another show by Anderson "Thunderbirds"... a marionetter classic.

Following his work in Space: 1999, he broke through in film with an award-winning role in the movie The Devil's Playground(1976). He continued to work in film with supporting roles in a number of important theatrical films, including The Year My Voice Broke, Richard Attenborough's Cry Freedom, Return from the River Kwai, A Cry in the Dark, and Hook. Nick Tate has also made guest appearances on numerous hit TV series, such as The X-Files, Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Murder, She Wrote, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine (in the sixth season episode "Honor Among Thieves"), Farscape, and in the Lost episode "Tabula Rasa".

I'm watching the Voyager episode "The Thaw"... guest star is Michael McKean... his interesting acting history includes the character Lenny on Laverne and Shirley. He was also a regular on Saturday Night Live, and dozens of movies.
McKean's TV guest appearances include; The Simpsons; Law & Order; Family Guy; Star Trek: Voyager; SpongeBob SquarePants; and Harvey Birdman, and Attorney at Law.
In 2003, he appeared in the Christopher Guest comedy A Mighty Wind. He co-wrote several songs for the film, including A Mighty Wind (with Guest and Eugene Levy), which won the Grammy for "Best Song Written for a Motion Picture, Television or Other Visual Media" and A Kiss at the End of the Rainbow (with wife Annette O'Toole), which was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Song.
