Today I saw Tim Russ (Tuvok - Voyager) on a new series episode of Suits... it might be a recurring role, watch out for it.

Did everybody hear that Walter Koenig recently got his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame?
You can watch his ceremony and speech on Youtube. Nimoy, Nichols, and Takei were there, too.
Pretty cool, huh?

To Switherdawna:
Yes, one of Gene Roddenberry's many talents was re-cycling props. I understand that he mentioned this idea in his pitch to the networks for Star Trek: that he would save production costs by re-using props and costumes.
The M-5, the atavachron, and Gary Seven's computer where all the same prop. that computer wiith a big, round screen and the alternating, flashing long-shaped lights.

I appreciate that Vulcan lady... but I always had the impression that was TOS's downfall... they used many things over and over again, like some visual sequences of the Enterprise flying through space, explosions, and I believe even some fight sequences. Since the TOS episodes have been re-edited, new animated sequences have been injected in the newer, digitised episodes. Is that a good thing, or is that tampering with an old artform? I like the episodes being 'upgraded'... you?
BTW, today I'm watching an old movie White Feather (1955)... and who plays an interesting part in it but Jeffrey Hunter (Captain Pike - "The Cage" / The Menagerie.)

I've seen that a few times while watching football. I noticed that it's from one of the early seasons.

Whoa, guys. The BEST new ad is George Takei in a brand new Old Navy commercial.
The young models are even wearing the Star Trek shirt colors and it looks like a tribble is floating in space!
Funniest of all, instead of George saying his trademark "Oh, my!" he says "We're all going to BUY !!!!" with a big grin.
Check it out on youtube if you haven't causht it on TV yet. (this commercial is on TV frequently, though!)
It's a big, current "thumbs up" to Star Trek!

Just saw two more Star Trek stars on Mission Impossible this morning (besides Leonard Nimoy).
It was the episode The Falcon with guest stars Lee Meriwether and Logan Ramsey
In Star Trek, Lee Meriwether had played Losira in "That Which Survives" and Logan Ramsey was Cladius Marcus in "Bread and Circuses".
