Simply put, the title says it all, who do you think that the best Star Trek couple is, and why.

I am going with Riker and Trio, simply because they were the first trek romance, with Worf and Jadzia in second and Parisand Toress in third.

NOTE: Yes i know that i didn't add Trip and T'Pol to the list, as well as Worf and Troi, it is not for any other reason then there was just not enough room for them.

I voted 'other that was not mentioned' even though it doesn't appear to have shown up. My choice would be the Kirk and Rand romance. Just how often did Janice hit the sack with Jimbo?

I voted Paris & Belana. They were a good match, they overcame some serious obstacles, and they were good for each other. But I gave special consideration for the Deanna/Worf pair up, I liked it, it surprised me, & I felt it worked.

I voted "other that wasn´t mentioned", but for some reason it doesn´t show up. My favourite pairing was Data and Tasha - that would have been such an extraordinary story had it had the chance to develop a little further!

You mean canon couple? Does this include couples that acknowledged an attraction but agreed not to act on it?

Mainly, I'm thinking about Picard+Beverly and Archer+T'Pol. Both of which I adore, for reasons I can't quite explain.

As for non-canon, I've always been intrigued by Data+Tasha, Data+Troi, and Janeway+Q.

Oh wait, what would that last one count as? I don't even know...

Captain Picard and Doctor Crusher were an interesting mix. All of the back-story helped flesh-out their fledgling romance, such as it was. Picard and Vash worked well, also.

I voted for Riker and Deanna, but I think other good couples would include Picard and Beverly, Worf and K'Ehleyr, Paris and Torres, and Bashir and Ezri. Worf and Jadzia would have been good, but she got killed, too.

though yes it was rushed a little, you have to admit that the feelings were already there from the Jadzia/Julian friendship, which Ezri admitted would have become more had Worf not come along.
