I wouldn't mind a PM function. It would also be great if the quotes stood out a bit more.

And of course, more communication between Admin and the users.

In addition:

-Provide the ability to go to the first unread post in a thread.

-Fix the "glitches" such as new posts getting intermingled with quotes, the editing function screws up the original format of the post and brings the use back to the first post in the topic, getting logged out sporadically, etc. There's a whole thread dedicated to the technical issues, please continue to review that thread and fix the problems.

That's a nice looking board Matthias. It's a shame that the satelite boards seem to all blow away this site.

Take a look at these two. http://forums.thestartreknexus.com/index/ and http://s14.zetaboards.com/wissaboos_board/index/ They've been going strong for a while now, even when the old st.com board was doing well. In addition there's http://s6.zetaboards.com/Star_Trek_Alliance/index/ and http://s15.invisionfree.com/sb63s_Star_Trek_Logs/ Many of the st.com members hang out there since this new board was launched.

All these boards have features this board should have. I even invited the admin of this board to look at Nexus, but I don't know if they ever took me up on it. Hopefully they'll take a look at the board you provided a link to.

I think that if Admn/Loc or TPTB would actually go and check out the sat. boards then they would be ashamed of this site, at least in how many glitches there still are here. But then again, I could be wrong and TPTB/Admin/Loc might not be able to see what we see. :: sighs ::
