DATA, would be the ultimate backup. Versatile in the kitchen and anything that needs fixing, especially useful if the car battery goes dead in the middle of nowhere. He would also be good for those other emergencies, but T2, you knew that it would head down that path, anyway. "Marriage," would have little to do with it. LOL!

It's strange, being a catalyst for things that move outside.

The poll's numbers are starting to
reflect a more rational mindset, with
the majority responding in the resoundingly
negative - FINALLY! Praise you, Jesus ...

For those of you ladies who selected
"I Would Never Get with Him (Data),"
you've taken your first step into a
larger world - I SALUTE YOU!

Just stick to the ladies,
and you won't have to worry
about stuff like that, sir!

I think women are drawn to Data not because of what he'd be like in bed but because of what a likable character he is. And I kind of cringed when you compared Data to a toaster, since much of Next Generation was trying to prove Data's sentience. No, I don't think anyone in this day and age would marry an android because we haven't created anything that can think for itself and not just regurgitate algorithms. But taking the premise that Data is, in fact, a "living" being, I don't see why people wouldn't like him. I'm just trying to be fair, here. Don't worry, you're in no danger of being replaced by robots.

I'm sorry you weren't fond of the
TOASTER analogy. But I saddle
that comparisson. And thank you
for the reassurances that wymin
won't abandon us. We NEED you!!!

I remember being so dynamically young,
and first discovering about wymin's liberal
use of ADULT toys! After that initial period
of fascination, it suddenly dawned on me that
this practice may put the human race ...
OUT of BUSINESS!!!

And ever since then, I've been somewhat
conservative, regarding my perceptions of
wymin in the bedroom. I'll issue spankings
and whatnot, but nothing too bizarre.

For me, this notion of marrying Data so many
of you ladies have fits into that category,
Just ... let's have girls like boys,
boys like girls and leave the robots to doing
the adding up - thank you, very much!

Thank you, Rusty.Shackleford,
for making my point FOR me!
Data IS just a robot, ladies.
Talk about SHOOTING BLANKS!

"He" can't climax OR get you
pregnant! As for Tasha, she
was Under the Influence! AND
she DEEPLY regretted it, after.
The Borg Queen, well ... that's
something else. She wasn't even
a woman, really. So, let the baby
have it's bottle, I say.

Thank you ladies, by the way, for
your very helpful responses, so far.

Herbert West, do you know what's happening, here?
These wymin are trying to make a good thing better!
Let's join forces in telling them, "can't be done.
You need a man as-is! So, don't even try"...

OK, Herbert West, your
New York City Ways Phase
is over. You've made your
rebellious statement ...

Don't worry, everything's going
to be OK! You know why? Because,
it's back to girls! Holding them.
Kissing them. Loving them. That's
right, tiger. Now, get out there
and give it your best shot!

I still think you might be focusing too much on the sexual aspect of a relationship. No offense, but you're thinking too much like a guy

All of the girls that I know that like Data like him because he is gentle, thoughtful, curious, sweet, and kind. Not because they would love to jump in bed with him. I think for most girls, that's definitely not what crosses our minds first.

If you want to get a girl's interest, don't focus so much on sex, because they probably aren't. Just be kind and sweet and show your interest. That will capture her attention better.

I wouldn't say "larger"... Data can swap his parts out for something bigger and better... you can't.
