Yes, you could boss Data around, but ...
It would be a bit like marrying McCloud,
from HIGHLANDER, wouldn't it? He would
never age, or die. Yet, you would, right
before his High-Definition eyes.

As well, I imagine, he'd be a rather cold
bedfellow, on long, winter's nights. And
he could never give you a Man's Love ...
that comes instinctively to one of your
own kind. And wouldn't he be rather
mechanical, in the saddle?

Or, do you find Data to be the Perfect Man?
Albeit, in the form of a MACHINE MAN?

You funny man. I bet you wrote this with me in mind. If I loved him and he me, I think the answer is quite obvious. As to the aging... well, he knows how to gray his hair, and considering his "aging" in the films (probably due to a new program he created, ahem), that would not bother me in the least. Especially when all my old bitty friends' husbands were rotting away, I could say "Hey, MY hubbie is still as good looking as he was 60+ years ago!"

He is every inch the gentleman. He is handsome, gentle, heroic, charismatic... I will shorten the list for the sake of space.

What is there not to love?
