Will Riker always loved the trombone and jazz.  Yet, when he became captain of the Titan and named shuttles after famous jazz musicians, I think he overlooked one of the most-famous jazz-trombonists:  Jack Teagarden (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Teagarden).  I jsut saw Teagarden in a Mickey Rooney movie, The Strip, recently, and he was fantastic!  I'm not normally a fan of this instrument, but he was definitely impressive.  I also liked his rendition of "Basin Street," which he performed with Louis Armstrong in that movie.  So, I wonder how Riker could have overlooked him.

Armstrong was one of its shuttles, but I think he should have chosen Teagarden, too.
