I'm so glad you all are coming.....

If anyone wants to recognize me (like I said, staying at the hotel, Preferred Weekend seats, etc.) -----

I have short, brown, shoulder-length hair, tall, wearing a Vulcan IDIC necklace everyday of the con and different Star Trek t-shirts (one is "Party like a Vulcan").   (I said earlier I had a long ponytail, but I cut my hair short)

Did you get your uniform Captain Warnock, and if so, how did it come out. I really hope it came out great, everyone I know who has gotton a uniform there has been very happy with it. Let me know, Steve....

Let me ease your mind a little bit, 'cause you seem a little wary of the con, as if you have to do certain things or act a certain way to come.  Fear not!  I have been to three different cons, this will be my fourth (first in Boston).  Star Trek cons are good clean fun and very tame.  Star Trek fans are very respectful.  They do not act crazy or strange.   They are all normal, regular people (some doctors, nurses, teachers, lawyers, etc.)  Much of the con will be sitting in a theatre to watch the guests on stage.  If you go to a party, that will be tame, too.  I've never even seen the people who are dreseed as Klingons act crazy...they just stay in character but not wild or anything.

I have never dressed-up at any of the cons I have attended and I have a great time.  Most people do not dress up, and if they do most of it is uniforms, which just make everybody look nice and neat!  Most really elaborate dressing-up will be on costume contest day, and then those people do not usually wear the costume again the next day.. because they were just trying to win the contest.   You will be amazed at the costumes, people are very creative.  (an exception to everybody dressing up is at the Las Vegas con, and it is because they are trying to set a world's record over there, but you don't need to worry about that.  And I went without a costume to Vegas before they started that world's record thing).

Like I said, Star Trek fans are very respectful and very nice.  I got hooked on going back to ST Cons not by the celebrities, but because of how nice the fans are.  I do not know anybody at this Boston con, but I plan on enjoying it because I expect the fans to be very friendly and nice to each other and to me.  You are going to get a real feeling of belonging, especially f you don't have many friends at home who like Star Trek the way you do.  Take it from me, you are really going to enjoy being in a whole room full of people who like exactly what you like for a change.

Expect to have a really good time.  And by the way, getting autographs is really fun, too!

OOPS....I no longer am going to be able to wear my "Party Like a Vulcan" shirt to the con, as I stated earlier on here, so you won't have that to recognize me by.  I lost weight and it doesn't fit!

I will wear my other shirts, especially my "I Love Trekkies" shirt.

I can't wait to see everybody there.  I have been to these things before, and yet I always get excited before I go.  It's going to be fun to be around fellow Trekkies again!
