Is anyone comming to the Boston Convention in July 2011?  It looks pretty good so far.  I wanna make sure we get as many  people as possible out here so we can have future conventions.

Star Trek is who I am, it is what I do every day. It's been through everything with me. Star Trek is most likely the biggest part of my life. Plain and simple.

Where in Boston?

Let the bridges I burn light the way. You are special, just like everybody else. Calling an illegal alien an ‘undocumented immigrant’ is like calling a drug dealer an ‘unlicensed pharmacist’

I'll be there all three days.  I have Preferred Weekend tickets so will be sitting in front of you guys if you have Sunday only tickets.  That's alot of people. Are you sitting together?  If you have a way I can recognize you, I'll say "Hi".

The Vancouver one was just posted, and they started there Friday at around 1 PM (activities and such), so I assume Boston will be similar on a Friday start....Just guessing.

They usually post the schedule of events about a week or two before.  I'm staying at the hotel, too.  Can't wait.

If you have a way I will recognize you, I'll say "Hi".

I never dress in costume, but it never looks out of place if you really want to.  Go for it if you want to be in the costume contest.  But even if you don't, lots of people dress up at least one day, sometimes every day.  At Vegas, a girl put on entire green body paint and walked around barefoot as an Orion Slave Girl.....every single day of a five day convention!!!!!.

I just don't think I want to spend the money that I would have to spend to look really professional, and I just want to relax and not worry about getting ready in the morning.  Some people do a really elaborate job so I go around complimenting them.  I'm nice like that.

If you have a way I'll recognize you, I'll say "Hi".

I have perferred weekend tickets so I will probably be sitting relitivly close to you vulcan lady.  I can't wait for this convention.  I just ordered a new First Contact style uniform to wear to the convention so I will be cosplaying.  I guess thats how you can determine who I am.  Can't wait to see everyone there!

What do you mean by "cosplaying"?   I will recognize a First Contact uniform.  That uniform is a good idea.

Well I guess I'm not cosplaying technically because I am not dressing up as a specific character and acting a specific role, thats usually what people refer to when they say they are cosplaying, but I will be in full starfleet gear, so in a way it is kinda cosplaying.

We have preferred weekend passes too! And we are also staying at the hotel. My friend ordered my a uniform to wear but it was made to the wrong size, but magically it fits his dad. His dad is really excited but I'm putting together a plan b. This is my first convention of any kind.
